Decco Raises £1750 In Loctite Hanging Man Challenge

To help celebrate the Rainy Day Trust’s 175th anniversary and fundraising drive, the manager of Decco’s Leeds distribution centre, Andrew Ballantine was literally left hanging as he became the latest industry figure to prove the strength of Henkel’s Loctite brand.

The stunt took place at Decco’s recent Leeds trade show at York Racecourse and with the aid of the exhibiting Henkel team, Andrew undertook the Loctite Hanging Man Challenge, which replicates the Henkel TV advertisement for Loctite SuperGlue. £1750.00 was raised for the Rainy Day Trust’s #Challenge175.

Commenting on the experience, Andrew said, “Not something I’d recommend anyone to try at home, but thanks to Henkel, I felt I was in safe hands. It was a great way to raise money for the industry charity and I’d like to thank all the exhibiting Decco suppliers and all the Decco customers who came along and supported the cause. Decco trade shows are always great fun, but being the Loctite Hanging Man really added something extra to the proceedings.”

All Decco’s regional distribution centre managers are supporting the Rainy Day Trust’s #Challenge175, as well as several members of the Decco management team.

Decco has seven strategic locations around the country giving a total of over 350,000 square feet of warehousing space and holding over £10m worth of stock. It specialises in offering top quality service and availability to independent retailers and garden centres throughout the UK.  As part of its commitment to supporting the independent market, Decco holds a series of regional trade shows in Spring and Autumn for the benefit of existing and new retail customers.
